The tested Dual-Era launcher for both Core3 Pre-CU and NGE. Select your galaxy, point Install Folder at its client folder, then use Full Scan.

This is the exact Dual-Era build tested and approved on 30 July 2026. Pre-CU scans and connects to login.swgreturns.com.

Full Core3 Client

The complete Pre-CU/Core3 game folder as a single ZIP. Download it directly, then extract it before selecting the folder in the Dual-Era launcher.

Download Core3 ZIP

Large 9 GB download. Allow at least 20 GB free for the ZIP and extracted game, and do not run files from inside the ZIP.

Full NGE Client

The complete NGE game folder as a single ZIP. Download it directly, then extract it before selecting the folder in the Dual-Era launcher.

Download NGE ZIP

Large 8 GB download. Allow at least 18 GB free for the ZIP and extracted game, and do not run files from inside the ZIP.

Installation Instructions

Choose your galaxy below. You need Windows 10 or 11, enough free storage for the extracted client, and a legal copy of Star Wars Galaxies.

Core3 Pre-CU

Download Returns.zip above.
Right-click the ZIP, choose Extract All, and select a folder with at least 20 GB free.
Download and open the SWG Returns Main Dual-Era Launcher.
Select Core3 Pre-CU and set Install Folder to the extracted Returns folder.
Use Full Scan, then launch the game.

NGE / JTL

Download nge.zip above.
Right-click the ZIP, choose Extract All, and select a folder with at least 18 GB free.
Download and open the SWG Returns Main Dual-Era Launcher.
Select NGE and set Install Folder to the extracted NGE folder.
Use Full Scan, then launch the game.

Having trouble? Keep the game outside protected folders where possible, add the chosen game folder to your antivirus exceptions if files are quarantined, and never mix Core3 and NGE files in the same folder. You can rerun the appropriate setup EXE whenever you need to change resolution, windowed mode, graphics, or sound. For help, use the contact page or community Discord.
